Landau Properties – Electrical Installation & Workshop Refurbishment Project
Wing’s Technical Services completed a large-scale electrical installation and refurbishment project for Landau Properties, delivering upgraded power distribution, containment systems and infrastructure improvements throughout the workshop areas.
The project included the installation of new 20mm metal conduit systems, modifications to existing power circuits, installation of additional socket outlets, relocation of existing light switches and the safe isolation and removal of redundant electrical wiring to suit the new layout requirements.
As part of the electrical upgrade works, our engineers removed the existing single-phase consumer unit and installed a new three-phase consumer unit to provide improved power distribution and increased capacity across the site. New tray work, trunking systems and SWA cabling were also installed to support the upgraded electrical infrastructure.
Additional works included the installation of dedicated supplies for data cabinets, replacement of existing socket outlets with unswitched fused spurs to provide safer and more reliable supplies for equipment, installation of a new external socket outlet, and the addition of a timeclock-controlled feed for external roof lighting.
All works were completed in accordance with current electrical regulations, with full testing and verification carried out upon completion to ensure compliance, reliability and safe operation. The project was carefully coordinated over multiple phases to minimise disruption while maintaining progress within a live working environment.
