Terms and Conditions

1. Credit Status.
This contract may be cancelled at any time by Wing’s Technical Services Limited, before the delivery date if, in its absolute discretion, the Company is not satisfied as to the credit status of the customer.

2. Site Survey.
If following a site survey, Wing’s Technical Services Limited are in the opinion that additional work is necessary for the proper installation and operation of the Mechanical, Electrical Services, Fire, security,CCTV or Access or building (in accordance with the specification provided), the Company shall produce a new cost for all of the works necessary to complete the proper installation. The customer may then within 28 days either: 1) Accept the new cost. 2) Reject the new cost, in which case the Company will complete the contract as originally agreed with no liability for the performance of the installation or operation of the services specified.

3. Unavoidable Damage.
Responsibility on the part of Wing’s Technical Services Ltd. for the damage consequent upon proper execution of the work shall be limited to making good.

4. The Customers Responsibility.
The customer will be responsible for:
• Providing ready access to the work area or site.
• Clearing the work area of any obstructions or stored articles where the installation or other work is to be carried out.
• Clearing furniture and removable floor coverings from the work area.
• Provision of electrical supply for power driven tools and for the testing equipment.
• Obtaining any necessary licences, authorities, or permission for the work to be carried out.

5. Asbestos and Other Hazards.
Wing’s Technical Services Limited are not licensed under the Asbestos (Licensing) Regulations 1983 and are therefore not allowed to handle certain work affected by asbestos. To the best of the customer’s knowledge, there is no asbestos or any other hazardous material nor do any hazardous conditions exist on the premises or the contract site. If such materials or conditions are found,then the customer shall be held responsible for their removal and any other additional costs of dealing with them.

6. Limit of Liability.
All goods supplied by us are manufactured by others. Accordingly, we shall pass on to you the benefit of the warranty, if any, given by the manufacturer of the goods. Our liability under this Clause shall be in lieu of any warranty or condition implied by law as to the quality or fitness for any particular purpose of the goods, and we shall not be under any liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise in respect of any goods or loss resulting from such defects or from anything done or omitted in connections with the goods or from any work done in connection therewith.

7. Ownership of Goods Supplied.
All equipment and materials supplied and installed remain the property of Wing’s Technical Services Limited until the customer or their agent has made payment in full.

8. Cancelled or Abortive Calls or Attendance.
If Wing’s Technical Services Limited are called to attend a site or property and access is denied or not available then a charge will be made for an abortive call at the current standard call out rate, plus travel time and expenses.

9. Terms of Payment.
Where no other items of payment have been specified, the Company’s terms of payment are net cash payable in full within 30 days following the date of the invoice. The Company understands and exercise its statutory rights to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms. If payment terms are breached, then all costs incurred by Wing’s Technical Services Limited for the recovery of the outstanding payment will be charged to the customer or their agent.

10. Travel Costs and Expenses.
Wing’s Technical Services Limited has a standard mileage charge of 0.55p per mile. A service travel charge for call outs will be charged at £25.00 per hour for call outs between 0800hrs to 1700hrs – Monday to Friday, all other times will be charged for at your agreed contract rates per hour. For the purposes of this cost we have assumed that there is always free and unhindered access to all areas involved and the plant and equipment concerned.

11. Exclusions.
Asbestos removal, any other trades work, main contractors discount, retentions, thermal insulation,coordinated working drawings, controls and loose controls, Cranage and lifting equipment, scaffolding or access equipment above 3m High working Platform, Integrity of the existing plant and valves, colour finishing, Identification labels, new ceiling tiles, data Installation, phase to neutral on all light circuits, office and welfare facilities, parts and labour for any necessary repairs or replacements.
