Fareham Academy – Full Toilet Refurbishment Project

Wing’s Technical Services completed a full refurbishment of the existing toilet facilities at Fareham Academy, transforming outdated areas into modern, safe and fully compliant spaces for daily school use.
The project began with a full strip-out of the existing installations, including controlled asbestos removal in line with current regulations. Internal walls were removed and reconfigured to improve layout, accessibility and overall flow within the facilities.
Our mechanical team carried out complete replumbing works, installing new pipework, sanitary fittings and improved water systems to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency. Alongside this, our electrical team installed new power supplies, modern lighting, emergency lighting systems and upgraded ventilation with new extractor fans to improve air quality and meet compliance standards.
Throughout the project, works were carefully planned around the school environment to minimise disruption, maintain safety, and ensure all areas were left clean, secure and ready for use.
The result is a fully modernised toilet block that enhances pupil experience, improves hygiene, meets current building and electrical regulations, and provides the school with a durable long-term solution.
